Meet our Team

Leanne Sorbello

Leanne Sorbello

Director and Speech Pathologist

Hi, I’m Leanne, Director of Sounds Fun Speech Pathology. I’ve been a speech pathologist for over 35 years and have spent the past 12 years leading Sounds Fun Speech Pathology, working with clients of all ages and many different diagnoses. I have worked in health, education, and different private sectors. I also work as part of the team at the Inala Development Service.

I love therapy that is creative, practical, and fun—because communication should work in real life, not just in the therapy room. I’m a strong believer in diversity-affirming practice and supporting people in ways that respect who they are and where they come from.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me enjoying theatre and musicals, cooking,  watching cricket, travelling through Europe, or getting competitive at trivia nights.

I’m proud of my Italian heritage , and married to an Italian man who is a high school teacher, Stefano; mum to two boys – Lewis and Giacomo, and bossed around (let’s be honest) by our dog, April. I love to write children’s books and dream of finishing the next one someday soon.

If therapy can be meaningful, inclusive and joyful—then I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

Sumeet Mann

Speech  Pathologist

I’m Sumeet: a speech pathologist graduated from The University of Queensland in 2021, and currently in my fifth year of practice. I started with Sounds Fun in November 2025, and I work from Monday to Thursday.

I have experience working with clients across the lifespan and from all walks of life, having previously travelled all around QLD to deliver specialised services. I bring an enthusiastic and energetic approach to all my therapy sessions, and I strongly believe in making communication fun!

When I’m not at work, you can find me relaxing on the beach or putting out fires in the kitchen. And if the cricket is on, I’ll probably be trying to catch every ball!
